Final Opening

Re film Plan

During the half term holidays I am planning to re film my opening sequence to make it resemble the opening for 'It Follows'. I need to have longer shots to create more tension and suspense and a wider variety of camera angles.

Treatment:
Pitch- single line concept

Obsession can drive even the innocent insane

Working Title
Obsession
Aprox running time
2-3 minutes
Genre/Style
Horror/Suspense
Target Audience
Teenagers, Young Adults.
Objective of the scene

To make the audience disorientated by the order that the scene is put together. To create enigma codes that make the audience question the characters intentions.

Treatment of Scene
The opening begins with a long shot of Sophie walking to a bus stop on a busy main road. It then cuts to a mid-shot of her walking in from off screen and sitting down in the bus shelter. It then shows a close up of Sophie using her oyster card on the bus. It then fades into a long take of Sophie walking down to the back of the bus. It then cuts to medium shot of Sophie sitting at the back of the bus. I then moves to a low angle shot of Sophie on the back seat. It then cuts to a close up of Sophie looking out of the back window of the bus. It jump cuts quickly to a black and white piece of footage of Viki walking towards the camera. It then cuts back to a close up of Sophie on the bus. It then briefly cuts to a extreme close up of Viki's eye before going to a tracking shot of Sophie fast walking through a park. It then cuts back to the shot of the eye before changing to a long shot of Sophie walking away from the camera. It then cuts to a sequence of an extreme close up of Viki's eye to a pan shot of a shed and then to a medium shot of Viki looking into the shed before fading to black.
